Tubewell Steel & Engg. Co. is a leading manufacturer and stockist specializing in Alloy Steel Pipes, Tubes, Fittings and Flanges for critical industrial applications.
Tubewell Steel & Engg. Co. is a manufacturer, stockist and supplier of alloy steel forged fittings in Mumbai, India. Our ASTM A182 socket weld and threaded fittings in F5, F9, F11, F22 and F91 grades are forged, machined and heat treated for leak-tight small-bore connections in steam, power and refinery piping.
Forged chrome-moly fittings for small-bore, high-pressure service
Alloy steel forged fittings are manufactured from ASTM A182 chromium-molybdenum forgings or bar stock and machined to the dimensions of ASME B16.11. Unlike butt-weld fittings, they join pipe through a socket weld or a threaded connection, which makes them ideal for instrument, drain, vent, bypass and sampling lines up to 4" NB. The forging process refines the grain flow and gives a dense, defect-free body that easily withstands the pressure ratings of Class 2000, 3000, 6000 and 9000.
We supply the full chrome-moly family – F5 and F9 for corrosive refinery service, F11 and F22 for steam and boiler lines, and the creep-strength-enhanced F91 for supercritical power plants. Each fitting is heat treated as required by ASTM A182, hardness tested, marked as per MSS SP-25 and shipped with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates. IBR certification and third-party inspection by BV, TÜV, SGS or Lloyd's are available on request.
