Tubewell Steel & Engg. Co. is a leading manufacturer and stockist specializing in Alloy Steel Pipes, Tubes, Fittings and Flanges for critical industrial applications.
Tubewell Steel & Engg. Co. is a manufacturer, stockist and supplier of ferritic alloy steel tubes to ASTM A213 / ASME SA213 in grades T5, T9, T11, T12, T22 and T91. Our seamless chrome-moly tubes are used in boilers, superheaters, reheaters and heat exchangers across power, refinery and petrochemical plants in India and abroad.
Ferritic chrome-moly tubes for heat transfer under pressure
Alloy steel tubes are seamless ferritic tubes alloyed with chromium and molybdenum to retain strength, resist creep and withstand oxidation at elevated temperatures. ASTM A213 / ASME SA213 is the principal specification for seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy steel boiler, superheater and heat exchanger tubes. Its ferritic T-grades range from the 1Cr-½Mo T12 and 1¼Cr-½Mo T11, through the 2¼Cr-1Mo T22, to the 5Cr and 9Cr grades T5 and T9 and the creep-strength-enhanced 9Cr-1Mo-V T91.
Tubes are made hot finished or cold drawn and heat treated to the requirements of A213, with general requirements per ASTM A1016 / A1016M. We also supply heat exchanger and condenser tubes to the older ASTM A199 specification and refinery still tubes to ASTM A200, both of which have now largely been replaced by A213 in new designs. All tubes ship with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates. IBR certification and third-party inspection by BV, TÜV, SGS or Lloyd's are available on request.
